Hi, I’m a new artist, and I love it! There are so many different mediums out there to try. I’m itching to get my fingers and hands on all of the available styles, lessons and courses.

I have been painting with friends for the last two years. We try to meet once a week through the Fall, Winter and Spring months. What a privilege to be with experienced artist, who have been selling their work for years. I feel so excited each week to meet with my friends. Working on different techniques and styles has been my adventure with canvas for these last two years.

 I have taken a one week course with Don Caven and it was wonderful. (The previous two courses years ago were a horrible experience for me and my instructors) I guess I just could not get on the same page as they were. Silly me.

 Now I enjoy learning from my friends. art books, seeing paintings and going to art galleries. I see art in everything now. I love magazines and pintrest, love shopping and being out and about with friends travelling and exploring this world.

Currently I am working with Mixed Medium with fabric, acrylics, paper and embellishments. So many options out there to try, and use, and so little time.
